Tip: Restart the Notification Center

Screenshot 2012 09 20 to 13 30 31

In all the time I have been with Mountain Lion, the Notification Center has never crashed, but if that happens, the solution is simpler than it seems.

To restart the Notification Center do the following:

  1. Open Activity Monitor
  2. Find the Notification Center task
  3. Click on Exit the Process
  4. Confirm the process exit

With that we will have restarted the process that is in charge of the Notification Center. If it works well it is not necessary, but if it ever hangs you already know what can be done.

Hello, if I have the mountain lion 10.8.1 installed, do I have to pay for the 10.8.2?

Thanks Carlos! Lately, he has been nailing himself often and had to restart the team, that's very simple.
Is this happening to someone else? Do you know why and how to solve it?
    Greetings.
