The TwelveSouth company has just launched the renewal of the BookArc family with a small redesign and adapters for the new MacBook, a product that has perhaps been the TwelveSouth's most popular since it debuted in 2009. The redesign itself affects the size and dimensions of the stand that is now ready to "hold" the current generation of MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, from 11,6 "screen diagonal to 15".

The stand has silicone adapters for different equipment sizes and that they promise that the BookArc will be "the perfect support for the current (and future) generation of MacBook in the coming years", according to the company itself.

The new BookArc is made of aluminum with a finish that is very reminiscent of the look of most MacBooks, with a polished beveled edge mimicking the design of Apple that introduced in the iPhone 5, iPads and iPods. While the "arch" shape continues to be the hallmark of this stand.

When placing your MacBook, the lower part where the cables are passed has shrunk and flattened. The BookArc for MacBook is now available for purchase and the wooden version named BookArc Mod It will continue like the previous version, selling at a $ 10 markup over the aluminum version, while the specific BookArc for the MacBook Air is the opposite, it will sell for $ 10 less than the base model.

The part where the stand rests is lined with rubber to prevent it from slipping on smooth surfaces and also to remain stable if we accidentally push the equipment. The truth is that it is a minimalist stand, very pleasing to the eye and that in addition to being made of aluminum with quality finishes, it is quite ergonomic since it takes up practically no space.
