Twitterrific for Mac now allows us to add photos and videos to direct messages

While we wait for the month of June to check if Twitter intends to kill all third-party appsIf the changes that we announced a few days ago and that would mean the end of third-party applications are finally confirmed, the guys at Twitterrific seem to have things clear and know that this will not be the case.

And I say this, because the most logical thing, would be to wait and see if the company that controls Jack Dorsey, and who was also one of its founders, go ahead with your intentions. Taking into account that it is their platform, no matter how many regrets their movements may cause with third-party applications, it is what there is and we can do nothing.

The guys from TheIconFactory have just updated their application by adding a new function with which we can finally send direct messages with photos or videos, without having to do it publicly as before. The images or videos that we want to add, we can include them directly from the clipboard, from our photo album or make a quick capture from the same message application, without having to use the camera of our device at any time.

This new function has not only come from the hand of the version for macOS, but also also available in the iOS versionSo if you use both applications on a daily basis, as the writer does, you are in luck, since this function was one of the most demanded by users. With this update, small bugs that had been detected since TheIconFactory released the last update of the application have been solved.

Since Twitter left the support for your native application on macOS, the developer of Twitterrrific has lowered the price of this application to more than half, so that at the moment we can buy it for only 8,99 euros, for the 21,99 euros that it cost during the first months of its launch.
