Two bluetooth headphones with the fourth generation Apple TV ... not for now

One of the things that we hope Apple will keep in mind for the next version of Apple TV is that users do not watch television alone and that sometimes it is necessary to be able to connect more than one bluetooth headset to the Apple TV.

Currently you can only connect a pair of headphones to Apple TV and when you connect the second pair of headphones, the device's system disconnects the other linked pair of headphones, not being able to use two pairs of bluetooth headphones at the same time.

In my case, I have a new Apple TV connected to an LED projector that allows me to have a projected screen of more than 100 inches in the room, thus having a small home theater in which to enjoy the best titles in addition to being able to make use of Apple TV applications in large format. However I can only link one pair of headphones and when I want to watch a movie with another person it is not possible to have the sound controlled so as not to disturb the neighbors late at night.

Many will be the users who will be in this situation and for that reason I will give a possible solution until Apple of theirs. One of the things that has not been publicized with great fanfare about the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 + is that they have bluetooth 5.0, a type of bluetooth that allows, effectively, to connect two bluetooth headphones to the phone, one thing that is becoming more and more common with the proliferation of bluetooth headphones. We hope that Apple includes this possibility in the next Apple TV.

In the case of Apple TV, things get complicated and, as you already know, Apple has eliminated the optical sound output and there is no 3.5 audio jack output so the sound will have to be removed from the television or projector, which will be the one that should have the sound or headphone output. To be able to convert that headphone output I have found a small gadget in AliExpress that solves it to a bluetooth signal to which two or more headphones can be connected.

It is a device that connects to a headphone output and is capable of emitting sound in a bluetooth wave. In addition, it is capable of working with several headphones at the same time, so the Apple TV problem would be solved externally. The price of the device does not reach 9 euros and you can get it at the following link.
