If a few days ago we showed you a way to get translate your favorite web pages or texts into your language in a simple way through Automator with a simple service. Today we are going to achieve the same result but in app form With the name of Universal Translator, it integrates more options when it comes to managing these texts, such as being able to change the font size and better adapt it to our view or taste, among many others.
There are also other options to use as a translator and I imagine that you will all know them by now, the most famous would be the Google translator or any other service integrated into a website and that also offers us translation options, which although they are just as valid, do not seem so complete.
The interface proposed by Universal Translator is minimalist and integrates the necessary options to be able to get more out of the program itself and that the Easier "management" of those translations. Options such as favorites where to save texts that have already been translated and that we know we will need later or that we use a lot in different languages.
We will also have the option to use a dictionary for the more than 50 languages available with options to translate the specific word from English to all languages but nevertheless it is only possible from all languages to English, so if we want to see the meaning of a word in Spanish for example and how it is translated into another language, we will not be able to carry it out unless the language is English chosen one.
I have tried with different words and the truth is that it still fails since it cannot find them so at this point they still have work it a little more. To download it you can do it for free from the Mac App Store with a weight of only 0.8Mb so if they fix that dictionary bug, it would be an option to consider.
