FCC A1844 Top Prototype

How to Live Aligned with we told you a little over a month ago, Apple presented to the United States Federal Communications Commission (hereinafter FCC) to get approval by the government body, a wireless system using NFC and Bluetooth communication, and of which we were not very clear about its objective. Well, doubt resolved.

Apparently, thanks to a manual presented yesterday by said body, with various photographs explaining its design, it is a fairly sophisticated door access system, which would use NFC and Bluetooth technologies to allow or not access in automatic door control. Apparently, it is a technology that Apple will implement in the new Apple Park.

It is estimated that the opening of the Apple park will take place sometime next April. And, for this, Apple is finalizing all kinds of details. Apparently, to discriminate between the different departments and hierarchies that will house the huge new central building of the North American company, They are going to install this new device manufactured by the guys from Cupertino in all those rooms and places with some kind of access restriction.

According to Business Insider, are several models presented to the FCC and unveiled yesterday. We can also appreciate the hardware of the device, where the prototype is clearly reproduced in the assembly of a door. Although still we have no news as to why the North American company would want to manufacture its own design for safe doors, the most likely reason is to add a security plus to the system. It is understood that this device can also be used for the Apple HomeKit project, based on home automation, although for now it is considered unlikely that the product is marketable.

The other products presented to the FCC, identified as "A1845 and A1846", it is speculated that they are simple variants of the previous model "A1844".
