RAW compatibility update for digital cameras

We continue with the updates in OS X and in this case it is a RAW compatibility update for digital cameras, reaching version 6.21 In this new version, a couple of digital camera models are added with support for captures made in the RAW format. After a couple of months have passed since the last update in which digital cameras with support for this format are added, we already have version 6.21 available in the Mac App Store and we can say that this will be the last in OS X El Capitan already With four days left until the new macOS Sierra is released.

This time the new update only adds compatibility for Fujifilm X - Pro2 and Pentax K-1 cameras, so it's not that it's a very radical change either. The truth is that the general list of compatible cameras is quite extensive, but the updates usually come in drops.

If you have any of these digital camera models and you use the RAW format to take your photos and then edit them on the Mac without losing the good quality that this format offers us in the photos, they are now compatible with the latest OS X. Remember that You can access the new version directly from the  menu> App store or by accessing it directly from the Mac App Store application> Updates. If you want to see or consult the long list of cameras compatible with this format, it is best to visit your own apple website where you will find the full list of compatible cameras.
