Use the "remove from trash" or "Delete immediately" in macOS

Once again we end today by commenting on a mode of operation that it is possible to use in the macOS recycle bin that you may not have noticed is that when we move files to the trash what most of the users do is "Empty the trash" without asking us anything else.

As already I commented to you in a previous articleThere are many users who make use of the trash as a place on the disk where they locate the things they no longer want, however, many of them have not emptied that trash in a long time, having a large volume of files in it and therefore a lot of disk space unnecessarily occupied.

For that group of saurians, it is possible that what I am going to comment on today could be helpful and it is only to clarify that macOS allows you to delete certain files immediately simply by selecting them and entering the context menu with a right click. In this way, a certain file that we want is eliminated from the trash, leaving the rest in place waiting for us to finally empty the trash or not.

Now, it is not the only option you have and it is that, as you will already know, in macOS we can order the files according to several ways such as by date, by name, by volume, class, date of last opening, etc. . In order to do this, it will be enough to open the trash and let's press command + J on the keyboard. You will see that a window opens in which you can organize the files that you have in the trash by the criteria that you think are most appropriate so that when deleting certain files you have them more closely linked, being able to do it in a simpler way.

So if you want to leave the trash as a disaster drawer where you then go looking for what you really want to delete, I have given you two good ways to do it.
