Apple launches "Release Candidate" version of watchOS and tvOS

Watch 7

The afternoon is being productive in terms of news related to Apple and it is that after the "official invitation" for the event of the new Macs with ARM processors and perhaps some more surprises, the Cupertino firm released the Release Candidate versions of watchOS 7.1 and tvOS 14.2. These versions for developers are formerly known as GM or Golden Master, so it is not that they are versions different from the previous ones, they are simply the ones prior to the official launch of the versions.

In this case, the notes for developers indicate the changes in the stability and security of both systems, but there are no important changes in the functions or similar. These versions could be released a week after the official arrival of macOS Big Sur, they could even reach the par since macOS is being delayed until the presentation of the new Mac next Tuesday, November 1.

Apple wants these final or near-final versions in the developer betas to be working well when they are released to thousands of users, and that is why it is called Release Candidate which is nothing more than the final version but exclusive to authorized developers. . We don't think these versions are very different from the final versions that we will receive the rest of the users soon, less if they do not contain bugs or errors.

At the moment everything is on track for the arrival of the new versions to Apple Watch and Apple TV, now it remains to be seen what day they are officially launched.
