Those of you who have ever mounted hard drives in RAID on your computer will be aware that the logical thing is to do it with internal drives, but that is not mandatory and we can perform RAID on USB drives without any problem.

- Concatenated RAID: 1:00 minutes.
- RAID stripe: 0:42 seconds.
- Mirror RAID: 1:16 seconds.
- Non-RAID speed: 1:02 (on either disk)
