VMware recommends not installing the latest version of macOS Catalina

With each new version of macOS, Apple focuses on fixing minor bugs and security issues. But sometimes they can touch a button that ruin the operation of an application. On this occasion, the application that has been affected by the key that Apple has touched is VMware.

Although later than it should, it's already been 12 days, VMware technical support does not recommend installing macOS Catalina version 10.15.6, a version that Apple released on July 15 since apparently the virtual environment that is created stops working completely like the equipment.

VMware allows macOS users run both Windows and Linux applications, to work together with macOS. But apparently, with macOS Catalina, the relationship is not entirely smooth and there is no way for them to cooperate.

Following the release of macOS 10.15.6, VMware Support was filled with crash reports. After a very long process of debugging, the company claims that the problem is not in your software, but in the update that Apple sent to its servers on July 15.

VMware has contacted Appleas the company cannot do much more. You can only wait for a solution from Apple. As I have mentioned, this solution is a bit late for all those users who use both the latest version of macOS and VMware.

The only workaround the guys at VMware offer is to shut down the virtual machines while they are not being used and reboot the host every day or every few hours. Now it is Apple who has to move, recognize this error and release macOS 10.15.7 ASAP.
