Walter Isaacson says Apple is not the most innovative company

For all those who don't know him, Walter Isaacson is the journalist, writer and biographer author of the only biography authorized by Steve Jobs. The book launched in October 2011 is still available today and we can say that it has been a before and after in Isaacson's life, since he spent many hours with the CEO of Apple in some really hard moments where Jobs was torn between the life and death. This allowed him to meet the true CEO of Apple and make a biography that from here we recommend reading to everyone, whether or not you are a follower of Apple and Steve Jobs.

But leaving aside the wonderful book published by Isaacson 6 years ago, in a recent interview in the CNBC, This talked about the present of a company that continues to grow steadily in an industry where a false step can leave you in the gutter. In this sense, he has made his position on the company very clear today, stating that Apple is no longer the most innovative of today's tech companies.

Logically the interviewee gave his opinion on the current state of Apple explaining that this is not a company that looks at the competition and should not go its own wayBut the answers may be focused more on the past than the present. We agree that Apple lives a bit of that past like all companies do and to say that it does not innovate is saying a lot if we take into account the current hardware of the brand, but above all the software.

Of course we cannot deny that Apple could always do much more than it does today, but it may not need it right now if we consider that its products are sold now more than ever and partly to blame for that "non-innovation" to which Isaacson refers may be precisely this. Do you think Apple has stopped innovating?
