watchOS 4 arrives with good news, applications listed on the Apple Watch

I have my Apple Watch from the first day that the first model was put on sale in Spain. I still remember the night before it went on sale, memorizing the Apple website to know where I had to press to be able to make the purchase as soon as possible and be able to have a unit that same day since at the same time I had to to arrange with a friend from Madrid so that he would come to look for it and bring it to Gran Canaria on a flight that I had the day after it was put on sale.

As you can see, I have been using this wonder since its inception and I see that its operating system is increasingly polished. Proof of this is the future watchOS 4 that comes loaded with news among which we have what we want to tell you in this article.

One of the star points of the Apple Watch since watchOS 1 and that at the same time characterized its home screen was the honeycomb arrangement of the applications in circular icons. When we are on the home screen and we rotate the digital crown, these icons increase their size so that we can press them. To rearrange them, what we have to do is press constantly on one of them until they begin to vibrate.

If I tell you the truth, it is not that I strongly agree with this way of accessing the applications and it is that sometimes you will press an icon and you accidentally press another or you just don't see at first glance where the application you are looking for is.

In watchOS 4 that is going to end and is that the Cupertino have implemented for the first time a second option to be able to see all the applications in a new display mode, in list mode. In this way when we press once "hard" on the home screen, the system will give us the option to see the applications in bee panel mode or in alphabetical list mode.

It's certainly an aspect that will make existing Apple Watches more productive and the future Apple Watch Series 3 will arrive with drastic changes under the hood.

You should say in the article how that contextual menu is activated: remove the screen from the apps by pressing the crown and then press hard on any area of the screen to see it.
