Why iOS is still better than Android in 2016

iPhone 6s and Samsung Galaxy s7

From practically the beginning of coexistence in the market, both operating systems have been compared. From the get-go iOS has been a bit of the way forward for the rest. But has this changed over time? Loyal iOS and Android users disagree. But there are those who have changed sides on occasion, and it is these who provide us with the most information.

It is clear that both platforms have a large legion of "fan boys", and these are perhaps the least reliable discussions. There will always be a battle over who copied whom, or who sold this out before, etc. But we are going to analyze the vices and virtues of iOS and Android today.

Sweeping a little for home, you already know clearly which side we are on, we are going to cite you several reasons why today iOS is one step ahead of Android. It is something demonstrable both in the App Store and in Google, that most of the major apps are developed for iOS first. It is true that if not simultaneously, these applications are quickly available on the rival platform. But application developers agree on one greater importance and diffusion if they launch their applications first on iOS. Thus we see how in iOS they are also updated before, and we have new utilities and features that do not exist in the Android version.

iOS has always been the model to look at for the rest.

One feature that is also a given is the number of updates that iOS releases during the year. This is due to the constant work carried out by Apple so that its devices work with the fluidity that characterizes them. Something highly valued by users. It is above all important that updates are released even for discontinued devices. So we will see how iOS 10 will also be available for iPhone 5. It is rare to see an Android device older than three years that receives updated support. Not to mention infinitely higher security on an iPhone than on any other smartphone on the market.

The good thing that the same company that develops the software also designs the devices on which it will run is that you can see that both parts fit perfectly. This does not happen on Android. It is easy to observe different devices with the same operating system that do not work the same. further for Android each manufacturer adds a brand layer that only serves to slow down a system that sometimes doesn't quite fit. iOs manages to work well with any device of the brand, and this shows in the smoothness with which the applications flow. We can see applications on iOS and Android that do not seem the same. Sometimes, the minimum quality required in Android for Apps leaves much to be desired.

There are applications that do not seem the same on iOS and Android.

iOS-10-VS-Android-N

Ending with the applications, it is important to know that with iOS 10 finally we can remove pre-installed apps from our devices. Those Apps so annoying, that we don't know where to locate, and that occupy us space, will go down in history.

I would particularly like to highlight the excellent Apple Care warranty system. Those of us who have suffered a broken iPhone greatly appreciate the 24-hour replacement service. In less than a day a courier picks us up the "bad" ending and delivers one to us in perfect condition. Ok, this is not iOS, this is Apple, but it is something worth noting. And thanks to this, brands like Samsung are beginning to take good note.

Does AirDrop sound familiar to you? Surely if you are from iOS yes. But if you are from Android you are still interested. AirDrop is a service that Apple offers to facilitate connectivity between devices of the brand. With a simple step we can instantly share photos, files or videos with other users, or send them, for example, from our iPhone to our iPad. If we want to share a file between Android devices, or from an iPhone to an Android, we will need Apps that do the job.

We have not named them all, but we have named several of the reasons why we consider that iOS is one step ahead of Android. Maybe you prefer Android. To taste the colors. But if we look at innovation, design, connectivity and fluidity, iOS is undoubtedly at the top of the podium.

Totally agree!! There are fewer and fewer differences between the two systems, but iOS is always one step ahead.

Hello, I have been using iOS for a short time and I do not totally agree with regard to the applications I have an iPhone 7 256 GB I give you two examples: I have bought the aircraft tracking application and the truth is that it leaves much to be desired because apart from that it is much more expensive than in android it is not exact since it is not in real time, in android flighradar24 it is totally in real time and another application is the call recorder because in iOS you have to do it manually and in android the Automatic Call recorder application is fully automatic. Those are two small examples of the differences between the two platforms

Y… con una página llamada «Soy de Mac» no ibamos a esperar ninguna imparcialidad… Comprar un «iPhone» sólo porque es de «Apple» hoy en día es una tontería (No lo digo por el artículo).

flighradar24 in ios in real time and in the face of nothing, I don't know what you're talking about, android is shit and it always will be, it's like buying a 600 with a Ferrari, it's very clear… ..
