With watchOS 7 you can hide the Control Center icons

Already eleven days that Apple released the first betas of the new firmwares this year for all the company's devices, for the use and enjoyment of the 23 million developers that Apple has spread all over the planet.

And as usual, the new features that they are discovering and that Apple did not explain at the WWDC conferences are becoming known through said programmers. Let's go with an interesting one: they have seen that in Watch 7 The icons you want from the Control Center can be hidden at the user's will. Interesting.

Greater control of Control centerForget redundancy, on watchOS 7. This is the headline. It is one of the new features implemented in this year's new firmware for Apple Watch.

The Apple Watch offers a Control Center just like the iPhone, where you can get quick access to Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode, Do Not Disturb, etc. Over the years, there are more and more icons on that screen. With watchOS 7, Apple Watch users can finally hide some of the Control Center icons for the first time.

In watchOS 6 you could only move them, with watchOS 7 you can hide them

On an already crowded screen of icons, the ability to hide some of them can come in handy for Apple Watch users. Previously, with watchOS 6, you could only reorganize the icons on the Control Center screen.

Hiding the icons you want in the watchOS 7 Control Center is easy. Just swipe from the bottom of the screen (or long press on the bottom edge of the clock if you're running an app) to open the Control Center. Scroll to the bottom and tap «Edit«.

You can touch and drag the icons to rearrange them or press the red button to hide a specific icon. However, there are some of them that users cannot hide: cellular, Wi-Fi, battery and airplane mode.

It seems very wise to be able to hide those icons that you never use, and leave only visible the ones you usually use, plus the four essentials mentioned above.
