In an interview that Tim Cook has given Bloomberg in the last hours, he speaks once again about the way of working with Steve Jobs, whom he remembers practically in every keynote. This time qualify the relationship as liberating.
In a fragment of the interview, Cook talks about that relationship:
I found it to be liberating, is the way I would describe it. Because you could talk to Steve about something really great, and if it sounded right to him, he would just say 'Ok' - and you could! It was like a total revelation to me that a company could function like this, because I was used to working through structures, bureaucracies, and studios (the kind of paralysis that companies could get into) and Apple was totally different. I realized that if I couldn't do something, I could go to the nearest mirror, look at it and find the reason.

CFO Luca Maestri, Head of Retail Angela Ahrendts, and General Counsel Kate Adams, a relatively familiar newcomer, brought their leadership experience from other companies.
