Wozniak signs your MacBook sleeve for a good cause

Wozniak holster

Everyone knows the hobby of the Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and his wife Janet for contributing to charitable causes. It seems to me very good that apart from going on cruises around the planet, he allocates part of his enormous fortune to helping those most in need. The truth is that in one way or another marriage is always involved with some charitable act. Bravo.

I just came across this news and I was amused: Picasso Lab has put up a series (limited I suppose) of MacBook and iPad cases signed by Wozniak to raise charity funds. And I say limited because they are hand signed one by one. I have looked at the photos on the Picaso Lab website and all the signatures are different. I don't think he knows where he has gotten himself….

Picaso Lab has put on sale for a limited time (until Woz gets tired of signing) a collection of leather MacBook and iPad cases signed by Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple. The covers hand signed one by one they are available for a wide range of MacBook and iPad models.

The covers aren't cheap to say the least, but one hundred percent of the proceeds go entirely to two charities that help deal with the California wildfires … Once again, the Wozniak couple are involved in a good cause.

The covers are made of high quality leather, available in black, brown and blue. They are available for the 13 and 16-inch MacBooks, the 11 and 12,9-inch iPad Pro, and for this year's new iPad Air. They are signed by Woz with a permanent marker fuchsia color.

All covers are priced at U.S. dollar 350, and are only available through the website of PicassoLab. The delivery time is several weeks, since once the order is placed, you have to wait for Wozniak to sign it before being sent. I guess the delivery time will take more or less depending on whether you are cruising or not ...
