yAlarm, an alarm application for your Mac

This is a simple but very useful alarm application for our Mac, it is a veteran application that simply offers us the option of placing an alarm on our Mac. Yes, many of us wonder why Apple does not add the alarm function on the Mac but it is evident that the reason is that they do not want to, period.

In any case, this is something we are already used to and therefore having to resort to an application to serve as an alarm may not please everyone, but hey in this case it's free. And the application called yAlarm is free for a limited time on the Mac App Store.

The app is simple, effective and above all it offers us the possibility of having an alarm on our equipment when and however we want, which is what many of us ultimately want. The alarm configuration is simple and is based on the current time we are, for the configuration we simply have to click on the numbers that appear below: 1m + 2m + 5m etc and it will start adding minutes to the current time.

You can also deduct minutes, but what you cannot do is program a specific time manually, that is, we cannot put the numbers directly but we can we can configure the time we want. It's very easy to use and works even when the Mac goes to sleep, so don't worry about it. The interface is somewhat rough, but sufficient for the function that the app offers us. It must also be said that the alarm is very subtle, it is not powerful at all and if we are very far from the Mac we may not hear it when it sounds.
