yoink for Mac is an application that allows us to drag almost any content to a space created by the application. We can transfer these files later to an email or document. Performing this action is as simple as invoking the application and a reduced space will appear in the part of the screen that we have configured, to drag the content there. In the update received today, we can add content to the Yoink box, directly from the clipboard. If you paste a web page into the Yoink dropdown, the image will appear as a TIFF file.
Another novelty that we have in this new version is the compatibility with Pop Clip, after installing a plugin in the application preferences. But it not only incorporates new functions, it also improves overall app stability. In certain applications like, macOS High Sierra Messages and Mail, Parallels, ForkLift, Keka, Horos, Yoink works better. The drag gesture has also been improved, avoiding problems since the macOS High Sierra update.
We have version 3.4 of this long-lived application from the Mac Apple Store, which was released for the first time in 2011. If you handle a large number of files in your day-to-day life, this application may become indispensable for you. It is a paid application, but its price is reasonable, € 7,99 if you use it intensively in your day to day.
