The YouTube application has been, is and will be, at least for now, an application that cannot be missing from any device with an internet connection, since it offers us a wide range of options to be able to entertain ourselves, learn how to do things through tutorials, see product reviews before buying them ...
Since the arrival of the YouTube app on Apple TV, this app has always been surrounded by a lot of controversy, mainly because the navigation interface did not follow exactly the guidelines that Apple sets for developers, but still, it had passed the company's filters.
Several weeks after its last update, the YouTube app for tvOS has just receivedr a new update in which the navigation system is substantially improved between videos of the application, in addition to receiving new tweaks and improvements in the horizontal scrolling system.
After this update, the operation and interaction with the application it is much simpler than up to now. Now it is much easier to move between the rows that show us both the recommended content and the new content that the channels to which we are subscribed have created.
Another improvement that the application has received is on the home screen, since scrolling is much smoother and more intuitive than in previous versions. This application arrived on tvOS last February, with an interface that was not adapted to Apple TV, since the search giant focused on showing the same interface that it shows on all the platforms on which it is available.
Being the Apple TV, a device that is controlled with the Siri Remote and not tactilely, as they are the majority of devices in which it is available, it did not make any sense to keep the same interface. Fortunately, the guys at Google have recognized the error and have finally adapted the application to Apple TV.
