Two original posters with the multicolored apple logo up for auction

Apple-1981

Apple's iconic multi-color apple logo was present in the company until 1998 when its design was changed to that of a translucent blue apple that the company did not like very much and during that same year it became monochrome. After a few years with some changes but always keeping the base logo of the bitten apple, I have to admit that I really like the colored one for what it means and also the one they currently have.

From the beginning two of these signs with the apple logo in multicolor hung from the entrance to Apple HQ in the city of Cupertino and now these two original posters that were hung on the facade will enter an auction that will be held on the Bonhams website on June 4.

We are sure that these two original posters measuring 1,17 x 1,24 meters they will get a good price at the end of the auction, but its starting price is in the 10.000 dollars. A somewhat high starting price for most mortals, but surely this part of Apple's history will reach a much higher price when the bids end and we will tell about it here.

The history of the apple logo is long, but to summarize a bit we will say that it was a personal commission that the late Steve Jobs made to Rob Janoff, which explained that he created the concept in two weeks after going to the supermarket to buy a bag of apples and after breaking them, spend a few hours looking at them and thinking of a possible design that in the end Jobs loved after asking him to add more colors to humanize the company.
