After Agilebits launched a massive and free update With in-app purchases for iPhone and iPad in January, now the company just surprised us with the corresponding update for Mac in the App Store, now supporting the two-step authentication codes in addition to many other improvements in the version of your 1Password for OS X.

One of those improvements in addition to the aforementioned two-step verification is that the application has gained the feature of store email passwords and even start a FaceTime call from Auido or Skype by clicking on the corresponding numbers in the Identities section, which enhances its general usefulness.

Two-step verification has been included since all the most used online services offered by the companies such as Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Tumblr, Dropbox and many others already have this feature available, so we can also generate the relevant codes from 1Password.

This system works very simply, it basically requires you to confirm your username and password when you log into the service by entering a code via SMS to the registered mobile or generated by specialized mobile applications such as authenticator, a free application from Google or alternatives such as Authy.

Now 1Password for Mac, as mentioned above, can generate these codes in one go. We will simply have to enter service data in 1Passwordsuch as Dropbox and the one-time code field will automatically be added.

In addition to this important improvement, other aspects have been improved such as add new languages or more types of custom fields, including URL, email, address, date ... Without further ado I leave you the log of the changes that you can check in this link
