27 ″ Thunderbolt display added to 'vintage' list

Apple products are added to the obsolete or vintage list when five to seven years have passed since they stopped being sold. TOpple introduced this 27-inch Thunderbolt Display in 2011 and from that moment nothing else was known, we have never seen an updated model.

As we all know Adding these products to the vintage list does not mean that they stop working, far from it.It is simply a way of saying that Apple does not release updates for this product at the moment and that possibly in case of a problem we will have to throw away the monitor since it does not offer official technical service.

In June 2016 it was officially stopped selling

And it is that Apple screens stopped being sold in the summer of 2016 and later, the Pro Display XDR screen arrived with the Mac Pro in 2019. This last monitor has nothing to do with the model discontinued today by the Cupertino company. In any case, it is another product added to this list of products that do not receive official support from the firm.

At present it is unknown when Apple will decide to launch a new screen, what is clear is that current screens are not available to everyone and that is logically due to their price. Apple has also included in this list of obsolete and vintage the original iPad Air which were the first iPad Air models released in 2013. Subsequently, these iPad Air models stopped being sold in 2016.
