More specifically, it talks about the compatibility with the MacBook Pro Retina from the end of 2013 and the Mac Pro from the end of 2013. Both can use 4K Ultra HD TVs with OS X or Windows (using Boot Camp).
The 4K Ultra HD televisions that have these specifications you can connect them through the HDMI port:
- 3840 x 2160 resolution at 30 Hz
- 4096 x 2160 resolution at 24 Hz (duplication is not possible at this resolution).
