One of the options that we have available on YouTube is the possibility of watch the videos in 4K quality, but Safari does not allow it and this extension called 4Ktube offers us an option. When we have it installed, it shows us a 4K icon in the Safari toolbar when a YouTube video offers a quality higher than 1080p.
It is true that the scarce content in this video format and "the few" users who have screens compatible with this format when we talk about iMac or similar make us forget that this content exists and consume it as such, but it is not easy either Identify these videos in this resolution so that all those who have the possibility to see this type of content can use this great extension.

And to start using it we have to open the Safari preferences, activate the 4Ktube extension and select the other browser from which we want to see the content in 4K. We can do it from: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera or any other application that can handle it.
