Good good good. Apple is in a hurry. The 22 June Apple released the first betas of all its new firmwares this year. We are still discovering details of these, and an hour ago he just released the second betas.
From now on if you are Developer, you can now update the first beta with this second, and see if new functions have been added, or there have simply been bug fixes. We will be waiting for the news from Apple developers. Apple just launched the second betas for developers of iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS 11 Big Sur, watchOS 7 and tvOS 14 just an hour ago. These new updates are prior to the public betas to be released later this month.
It seems that the company is in a hurry to debug this year's versions of its firmwares, especially those that have more news compared to the previous year, such as Big Sur macOS or iOS 14.
These second betas come just two weeks after the inaugural developer releases, which were released just after the end of the virtual presentation Keynote of the WWDC 2020 Apple, held on June 22.
The new updates via OTA are available through Apple's standard software update mechanism on all supported devices if you are subscribed to the plan of Developer of the company.
If you are a developer, you already know how to update the different firmwares:
- WATCH: Tap Settings> General> Software update.
- MacOS- Select System Preferences from the Apple menu, then click Software Update
- tvOS: Choose Settings, System, Software Update
We will be waiting in the next few days for the news that Apple developers can give us to test these second betas. We will see if they are only error correction, or new functions have been incorporated that were not activated in the first betas.
