The film is being produced by Gyllenhaal and Nine Stories partner Riva Marker along with Ross Richie and Stephen Christy, Deadline reports. Gyllenhaal is the star, with the script written by Patrick Ness and the film directed by Gustav Moller. Adam Yoelin and Noah Stahl are executive producers, with Mette Norkjaer serving as co-producer.

It's unclear how much Apple has paid for the rights to the film, but considering it's been a tough fight against five distributors more, cheap will not have come to Apple, that's for sure.
