Apple is testing the M3 Pro chip in a powerful new MacBook Pro

MacBook Air and MacBook Pro

Rumors indicated that at the next WWDC Apple could present new devices. Although it is a developer conference and what is expected is mostly software, it is not surprising that new terminals can be presented and it would not be the first time that this has happened. You might think that the new MacBook Air and a probable Mac Pro were going to be introduced, but nobody was thinking of a new MacBook Pro with the M3 chip. But that's what one of the best analysts in the business thinks.

If you're a regular at Apple and this blog, you'll know that one of the biggest analysts out there is the Blommberg writer who owns his own online newsletter called power on. We talk about Mark Gurman and it is he who has indicated that it is likely that Apple can present a new MacBook Pro with a new M3 chip at this WWDC. Because according to their sources, Apple would be testing that new chip in that model of computer, but also with impressive features.

This new chip would be being tested in a MacBook Pro with 12 CPU cores and no less than 18 GPU cores. That would mean that the most powerful MacBook Pro to date would be launched and with the new M3 Pro that promises to be much more efficient than the existing ones up to now. Of course, Gurman says that it will be announced but until we see it come true many months will pass. We must bear in mind that we must first see the launch of the most basic M3 chips and arranged in other terminals. Furthermore, reports indicate that production of that new item will not start until the end of this year.

It's amazing news, for sure, but what we'll see at WWDC is also expected to be amazing, especially that 15-inch MacBook Air which is expected to be unveiled and released in the near term. Yes with the M2.
