Disney honors the memory of Steve Jobs at its D23 expo

As every year, Disney celebrates its D23 expo for all those lovers of Disney magic in which they can enjoy live performances and various exhibitions about Disney history for the most curious and nostalgic.

Within this long-awaited exhibition, a Disney legends annual ceremony, which are neither more nor less than all those people who were relevant to the general public, of which some of them contributed to the company growing and maintaining its status at the top.

In this case, there are quite a few honorees, but stand out on the one hand Dick Clark which brought rock and roll to 40 million homes across the US, with the 1958 national debut of the American Bandstand show on ABC. He then went on to produce game shows, award shows such as the Golden Globes and the Academy of Country Music, as well as bringing comedy movies and other related television shows into a more popular context.

Y on the other hand Steve Jobs that he was CEO of Pixar as well as one of its first major investors, making him the largest shareholder in the Walt Disney Company when it acquired Pixar Animation Studios in 2006. That same year, he joined the board of directors from Disney, and remained in a valuable but more in the background position as an advisor to the company until his death in 2011.

Other honorees will be John Goodman, Billy Cristal, Tony Baxter, Collin Campbell, Glen Keane and Ed Wynn.
