MacBook sales grow 17% according to TrendForce

The sale of computers in general lines not going through his best moment let's say. We are in a time in which the sales of tablets and especially smartphones are ahead of the figures achieved by personal computers.

On the other hand, it must be said that the sale of Macs in general has been quite constant for some time or decreasing very little, although it is true that it is not by far what it has been in the past at Apple they have to be happy with your figures and more now that TrendForce says in its study that shipments of Macs have grown by 17,1% Compared to the same period of the previous year.

The 12-inch Retina MacBooks are leading this growth in sales. In the rest of the computers, the figures seem to be maintained and although the competition is also increasing their sales this quarter, it seems that Apple is not far behind.

Good hardware, good software

We cannot forget that each year they are added to Macs new, more powerful hardware components, although it is true that the design is not modified. This, added to the good work done with macOS, keeps users looking for a Mac for their day to day. This year has not been the one of the changes in the Macs, but Apple itself already said that for 2018 important developments are expected, especially in software, so this could give a new push in the future.

When we talk about the number of sales in Apple, the first thing that comes to mind is the iPhone since it is usually the device with the most push on the market, but the Macs do not seem to want to give up and we have been a stable time with constant sales or even in some quarters with these small rallies as is the case. All these figures can always improve and that is what they try from Apple.
