The new iMac is out!

Well, the € 999 one I'm going to skip directly ...
For the same 1079 bucks (I do not know now if the basic was worth something more) a whole iMac of 20 ″ at 2,4 Ghz and 2 Gb of Ram, a larger graphic (I think) and the same 250 Gb as always.
Come on, they have simply rescheduled the processor from 2.0 to 2.4 and the RAM from 1 to 2 Gb. (If you ask for 2, of course) since if we do not modify anything leaving it with 1 Gb it will cost us € 999. I imagine this is a good trick to make it look like they have lowered the price of the basic of the range.
Yes, it has really gone down but considering that today nobody is left with only 1 Gb of Ram I would say no, at least relatively.
We can choose to pay much more for a 24 ″ cucumber that brings 2Gb of RAM, an Intel core 2 extr ... sorry, 3,06 Ghz DUO (it beats the extreme in speed, yes) and the same 500 Gb of series as always .
but ... what happened to the Intel Core 2 Extreme 2,8 that had before in the top of the range?
Because I see that there is a 2,8 as a cheaper option of the 24 ″, but it is DUO although yes, they are all «Penryn».
