Apple today explained some details about the upcoming Apple TV + series "Physical", which is just being shot. It will consist of ten chapters, and will be released this summer, without a specific date yet. It will star Rose Byrne and Rory Scovel.

Set in the eighties in San Diego, "Physical" shows us Sheila rubin, an obedient housewife who supports her husband's political aspirations. To get away, she hooks up to gymnastics and starts a business recording fitness videos.

The series follows her particular transformation from being a submissive housewife to a winner with her project, powerful and confident, becoming a guru of her own lifestyle, feminine, modern and liberal for the time.

"Physical" stars Rose Byrne as Sheila Rubin, and Rory Scovel like her husband Danny. The series was written by Annie Weisman, known for her television work such as "About a Boy," "Suburgatory," "I Feel Bad," and "Desperate Housewives."

Apple has not provided a specific release date for "Physical", but has assured that the series will premiere in the summer of this same year. We assume that a trailer of it will be published soon to whet your appetite.
