But it was not the only one, since LG, Sony and Vizio also signed up for the same goal, announcing compatibility with HomeKit.. Only Vizio and Samsung announced that the models they had sold in 2018 would be compatible through an update, an update that in the case of Samsung is already available.

The new Apple TV application available on Apple TV will also allow us to subscribe to the different services that Apple will offer through Apple TV Channels, including access to Showtime, HBO and other streaming video services.

Although Samsung was not the only manufacturer that announced the availability of AirPlay 2 and Apple TV, with the launch of this new update thus becomes the first manufacturer to offer AirPlay 2 compatibility, a protocol that until now was exclusive to Apple devices.

In addition, it is also the first to offer Apple's streaming video service through the Apple TV application, although at the moment it is not working 100%. Yes, unfortunately does not include support for the Home app, an application that allows us to control the home automation of our home, something that we can find in LG models, as announced by the manufacturer
