Siri and the cookie monster stars in a new Apple ad

Really every day I am more convinced that Siri has great potential to exploit and much more when Apple opens the APIs so that developers can use them in their applications, while this happens or not, Apple continues to promote the personal assistant Siri in its ads and this time he does it accompanying the friendly cookie monster while waiting for cookies.

Some rumors warn that Siri may arrive on OS X very soon and it is true that for some tasks the assistant could work very well helping the user to write a note, put an Apple Music song, perform a calculation or the like when our hands are full. .

The true potential of Siri would be seen on the iPhone and if it arrives on the Mac, if the guys from Cupertino allow full access to developers and this may not come soon or even never come. The security that the Siri assistant offers us today with actions exclusively created by Apple, would be lost if in the end the developers have access to the assistant's code.

But in my personal opinion I increasingly use the Siri assistant for simple tasks in the car, specific moments where my hands are full or from the Apple Watch itself, so although it is true that I always say that on Macs I defend myself with it keyboard and I do not see the assistant as useful, maybe with time and if it ended up arriving I would find it useful for those specific moments. In addition, Apple does not stop adding new options that help us on a day-to-day basis. Do you use Siri? Would you like to be able to use the assistant on the Mac?
