On a day like today in 1981 Steve Wozniak suffered a serious plane crash

Ran the February 7th 1981, and Steve Wozniak along with his girlfriend, Candi Clark, his brother and his girlfriend, had a serious plane crash with the Beechcraft Bonanza A36TC plane owned by the co-founder of the technology company Apple and which at that time had 50 flight hours as pilot.

Luckily in the serious plane crash nobody loses their life, but Woz, suffers from various head and body injuries as a result. Undoubtedly a date that we are sure Wozniak himself will never forget since it could have cost him his life.

This accident meant a prolonged absence from work for the brilliant engineer, at that time he had never been so long away from the Cupertino company. We do not believe that this accident has anything to do with the future of things, but four years after this terrible accident, Woz left Apple forever - on February 6, 1985 - after disagreements with his own, Steve Jobs. Wozniak then founded a new company called Cloud 9 which developed remote controls, manufacturing the first universal remote control on the market in 1987.

In any case, before the accident with the 6-seater plane, Wozniak was recently divorced from his first wife and starting a relationship with his secretary at Apple, Candi Clark. Official sources said the accident occurred when for a failure in the launch maneuver of Apple's own co-founder made his girlfriend lean on the controls of the plane and it ended up crashing.

Best of all, no one was seriously injured except Woz's relationship with Jobs due to the non-continuity of the Apple II computer and other issues that directly affected the brand's employees and Jobs's behavior with them. Everything was a cluster of things that led to the abandonment of the company but not before without collecting their share of the shares. And it is that today Wozniak, is still part of this great company that is Apple.
