When we talk about smart watches we can see how more and more models continue to appear on the market and one of these watches that is about to appear is that of a watch company that has been in the sector for many years and that is expected to soon have its own watch available intelligent, we are talking about Swatch.

The company's own CEO, Nick Hayek, speaks in an interview conducted by the Swiss media Tages-Anzeiger, about his future smart watch directing his efforts in designing a device with beautiful and simple software and hardware, which is also very easy to use and clearly based on NFC technology.

But in this interview it was impossible not to talk about the Apple watch, the Apple Watch and the way of referring to the device of the Cupertino boys is somewhat peculiar since it speaks of an «interesting toy» explaining that it has many functions and that your company does not intend to fight in sales with the Apple Watch since its device is aimed at other types of users who want autonomy, receive notifications and be resistant to shocks. Personally I think that already exists or at least something similar to what Hayek explains, the Pebble performs more or less those tasks and is quite resistant being plastic, so I imagine that the screen will be similar and it is possible that it will compete directly with this .

We will see what model they launch in a future more oriented to use with NFC and not so sporty.
