Apple has published on the YouTube channel of Apple TV + a new video where it is shown how the special effects, scenery and costumes were created used in this series based on the novels by Isaac Asimov and whose first season is about to end and which has already been renewed for a second.
Foundation is a sci-fi epic saga spanning a whopping eighty episodes in total (As claimed by showrunner David. S. Goyer). It is set in the distant future and follows a group of exiles tasked with saving humanity and rebuilding civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire.
In the description of this video, Apple states that:
From the beginning, the world's most dedicated visual effects artists and costume designers established that Fundación would be a show unlike any other on television.
Foundation is directed by the showrunner and executive producer David S. Goyer and has been recorded at Troy Studios in Ireland. stars Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, Terrence Mann, Cassian Bilton, and Alfred Enoch
The series premiered on September 24 and today friday the ninth episodes opens of the 10 that are part of this first season.
Although the reviews have been quite positive in the first episodes, the last they are not receiving the same treatment by the press and the public.
The series is supported by a companion podcast where it talks in more depth about what has happened in each episode.
