UK wants the privacy Apple claims to be ruined

Apple Store-Beijing-1

The year 2015 has not ended but it seems that 2016 is going to be a busy year for technology companies and companies that operate over the Internet in general and the United Kingdom wants to launch a new law that would force companies like Apple to leave a kind of back door in their systems so that the government could collect user data.

It is not the first time that this situation has been put on the table and it seems that more and more governments themselves want to delve into the cyber privacy of users. Apple doesn't want this to go ahead and they have sent a letter expressing their disagreement with the proposal to the British Parliament.

The news we give you has nothing to do with today's joke day and it is totally true that the Investigation Powers Law pending approval in the UK. If this law is approved, the consequences would be catastrophic since the other countries, including the United States, would join it and the millions of users would be totally controlled.

When we say that they would be fully controlled, we mean that, for example, companies like Google would have to keep a history of one year in which you could know all the websites where each user of the network of networks enters or stops entering.

In addition, the operating systems of all devices should allow the collection of user information, becoming a double-edged sword and that it could be used for different purposes than what the law we are talking about really intends.

We will see if finally the law proposed by the Secretary of the Interior of the Government of the United Kingdom, Theresa May, ends up being approved or not.
