We can now officially upload photos to iCloud.com

icloud-applications

Little by little, the services that Apple makes available to us on iCloud.com are becoming known and it is that if about two weeks ago we informed you that in the beta of iCloud.com we had been able to observe that those of Cupertino were doing tests to to be able to add the possibility to the user not only to view and download their photos from the iCloud.com Photos application, but also to be able to upload photos to the cloud from any computer, now that possibility has already materialized in the final version of iCloud.com

For a few hours, when we entered iCloud.com in the Photos application, we can see a new button at the top with the word send that will allow upload photos to cloud from any browser.

For users who are up to date with the modifications that the Apple cloud has undergone, that is, iCloud.com, they will be able to remember that until yesterday when we entered it from any browser we could see the photographs taken with mobile devices, this It is mainly the iPhone or iPad, in addition to being able to download them.

Now, we can also upload photos to the cloud from any computer, with which we will have them synchronized on all devices automatically in a few seconds.

The new upload feature on the iCloud.com site allows you to upload JPG files, but just like with the beta feature, images and videos in formats such as .PNG, .MOV, .AVI, .MP4 are not supported.

We have to take into account that the photos uploaded to iCloud Photos use the iCloud storage space. Apple offers 5GB of storage space for free, with additional plans ranging from $ 0,99 for 20GB of storage space to $ 19.99 for 1TB of storage space.

I upload jpg files (converted from raw) to iCloud Photos and it rejects it because it says that the files must be jpg ... I don't understand why it doesn't support these converted files.
