A functional Macintosh 1/3 scale of the original

It has been a whopping almost 30 years since what would perhaps become the the greatest achievement Apple for personal computers.

We are referring neither more nor less to the original 128Kb Macintosh, a computer that due to its ergonomics, its interface, how compact it was and the inclusion of a mouse was the best that Apple had launched until then and more after the fiasco a few years before the Apple Lisa, a very powerful team for the time but excessively expensive, which did not succeed.

Now an Apple fan named John, has carried out a project to miniaturize the Macintosh and bring it to a 1/3 scale the size of the original and the truth is that the equipment looks as if it had been manufactured by Apple itself in every detail.

To accomplish such a feat, John turned to a Raspberry Pi to run a Mini vMac version, an emulator of Apple's operating system in addition to a 3,5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 300 × 200 that is a bit low compared to the classic resolution of 512 × 342, although this small screen can boast to be in color.http: //www.youtube.com/watch? v = yx-RseAns8 The casing of this small Macintosh has been made of PVC and a module of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth along with a phone charger type outlet to connect the equipment.

All this craft work achieves run games and applications like Photoshop 1.0 without any problem and with nothing to envy its older brother being more 'modern' and powerful in certain aspects.
