Today we are going to talk about something that, at least I, I experience in the first person and that is that many of the students I have, boys and girls from 12 to 17 years old own an Apple product. When I say that they have an Apple product, I am not just focusing on a possible Mac at home, but the vast majority have an iPhone, a few already have a Apple Watch and a few others have iPods.
Now the company Piper Jaffray Has made surveys of 6.500 adolescents in the United States and the data has concluded that Apple continues to lead in all categories. Once again we can affirm that Apple continues to rank highest on the podium not only among users ages 35-60, but also leads the teen industry.
As we have anticipated, a survey has been carried out with almost 7.000 adolescents in the American territory, obtaining results that indicate that 69% of them have the current iPhone and they have already had some other previous model and among those who do not currently have a Cupertino terminal, we have 75% of them who expect to have one in the near future.
As for the Apple Watch, the survey has revealed that fewer teenagers have it, reducing to a sad 12% and this device has not yet managed to attract much attention from this segment of society. Despite this, 71% of those adolescents who own a smartwatch have expressed their wish that it be an Apple Watch that they could have on their wrists.
Finally, the sample of adolescents was asked if they owned a tablet, of which 59% already had one and half of them were our precious iPad. Here is a table showing the results obtained in this "roughly" survey:
