Again comes an update for Adobe Flash Player, this time it is about version 18.0.0.160. The previous version was launched in May, now we have the June version available in which it seems that the security of the tool and its stability are being reinforced. The enhancements also focus on 3D game and content performance, add improvements to video compatibility and performance, and we also have new APIs to improve the user browsing experience on the latest devices.
It can be said that this new version has not been released due to a security problem or similar, something that we have experienced on previous occasions.
These updates usually appear automatically on our Mac through a pop-up window that warns of the new version available, but you can always access from System preferences and click on the flash icon, then go to the top tab Advanced, In it you will see the updates section in which the version that you have installed on your machine appears. It can also be accessed directly from the website of Adobe Flash Player and see if we have the latest version available installed
By security and stability reasons it is recommended to keep Adobe Flash Player updated to the latest version available.
