Adobe Premiere Rush is now fully compatible with Apple's M1

Premiere Pro and After Effects is updated for macOS

Adobe released a major update for Premiere Rush yesterday, adding full compatibility with M1 chip, along with a series of small updates for Premiere Rush and Premiere Pro. This new version arrives a few days after the launch of the first Illustrator beta also for Apple Silicon.

Premiere Rush is the application of adobe video editing designed to facilitate creativity and is the alternative to Apple's Final Cut Pro. This new update to Premiere Rush improves speed and optimization on desktop computers using the M1 chip.

On the other hand, Premiere Pro is includes dynamic Lumetri previews. Lumetri presets now display a frame of the current sequence, and the thumbnails of the Lumetri presets in the effects panel dynamically update, providing a preview of the preset.

Premiere Rush for iOS has also been updated including a new context menu on the timeline. Users can now tap a video clip on the timeline to bring up the context menu to split, duplicate, or delete a clip. Additionally, users can play a video clip with audio to separate the audio clip from the video.

Better reset functionality has also been added, allowing users to reset all color, audio and transform settings.

Recall that Apple's M1 processor is only available in the MacBook Air, the 13-inch MacBook Pro and the Mac mini, although the next April 20, could expand the range of equipment with this processor with ARM architecture.

To download this new version, we just have to open the application Adobe Creative Cloud and select the ARM version of this application for download.
