For the past few days, we are getting a steady trickle of program updates, able to take advantage of all the features of the new OLED bar, better known as touch Bar. In the past we have encountered similar cases when Apple decides to release a technology like Handoff or to a lesser extent the notification center widgets.

In fact, our protagonist today, the Airmail email application implemented the functionality with the Notification Center Widget in previous versions. In Soy de Mac You can find various articles about the operation and general characteristics of the program. Today we tell you the news of version 3.2 of Airmail.

In this first version we have several Shortcuts to the usual functions of the application. As we can see in the cover image, functions are easily identifiable on the Touch Bar by colors. From it we can perform:

  • Type A new message.
  • Give answer to a mail.
  • File the current mail.
  • Transfer to paper bin.

But Airmail excels in previous versions by implementing functions that go beyond basic functions. Some of them, which we also find available in the OLED bar are:

  • Delay reading of an email for later.
  • Make an email a task determined.

Although the real advantage of the new bar of the Macbook Pro is in the customizing the functions of a specific program. That is why, Airmail was not going to be less and allows us to adapt the Airmail functions that we use the most, to have them available at the right time.

At the same time,  version 3.2, fixes typical malfunctions and interface improvements, to make it more efficient and stable.

Airmail 3.2 can be found in the Mac App Store. If we have purchased the application in the past, this update is free. On the other hand, if you are interested in acquiring it for the first time, we must pay € 9,99 to have this interesting email manager.
