Earlier this week Apple announced the dates of the tenth edition of the Apple Music Festival, previously called the iTunes Festival but which since last year was renamed to adapt it to the new music streaming platform of the Cupertino-based company. Although the day he announced the dates, September 18-30, Apple did not confirm who the guest artists would be, the first guests have just been made public. This announcement was made by Julie Adenuga through the London voice program that can be heard on Beats 1.

At the moment the artists officially confirmed by Apple are: Alicia Keys, Bastille, Britney Spears, Calvin Harris, Chance The Rapper, Elton John, Michael Bublé, OneRepublic, Robbie Williams and The 1975 Headline Festival's 10th Anniversary. During the celebration of the Apple Music Festival in London, which will be held at the legendary Roundhouse, users will be able to enjoy playlists designed for this event, in addition to enjoying interviews and backstage.

The 10 nights in which the scheduled concerts will be held, can be followed live through Apple Music in the more than 100 countries where Apple's streaming music platform is currently available through iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, Apple TV and Android devices with the corresponding application installed.

Beats 1 will raffle the days prior to each concert various tickets so that Apple Music lovers and users can attend any of the concerts completely free of charge. Apple currently has just over 15 million subscribers to its streaming music service Apple Music. While the data that Spotify announced in January revealed to us that at that time it had 30 million paying subscribers, a number by now, when 8 months have passed, must have grown in a similar way to that of Apple Music
