Apple adds 40 new banks to Apple Pay

Apple has just announced the new banks and credit institutions that have just got on the Apple Pay bandwagon and allow their users to make payments with the NFC technology of our iPhone or in combination with the Apple Watch. After adding these new 40 banks, the number of entities associated with Apple Pay is close to 800, a figure that must be taken into account and that shows the interest of the United States in expanding the use of this technology.

Since the arrival of Apple Pay to American territory, the expansion has been progressing little by little, but outside the country, it has barely advanced. Actually Apple Pay is also available in the UK, Canada and Australia. It will soon arrive in Spain, Hong Kong and Singapore from the hand of American Express, to facilitate the arrival in the country and not depend on the negotiations that it has to face with the banks to distribute the commission they charge.
