In this case it is a replacement of the previous 29 W model with a 30 W one. This new power adapter does not add more changes than the increase in charging power and in this sense it is not an exaggeration to say either.
The new power adapter arrived minutes after finishing the inaugural keynote of WWDC this year and as Apple often does, in total silence and without announcing it anywhere. In this case it is a minor change in the company's online store and its products, but we will be attentive in case more changes appear on the web.
This adapter does not change anything
Apple has in its product catalog a number of power adapters for your MacBook and MacBook ProIn this case, apparently they have only changed the 29 W model for this 30 W model, which in practice does not mean a great change in the load of Macs or other iOS devices with "fast charging", so it is not make it a radical change.
The good thing in this sense is that it was rounded up and the 30 W suppose a little more power for the charger of the Mac. In the photo above you can see the power adapter of the MacBook (in this case the one I have with the Mac) and the power of 29 W that marked. Now the new equipment will come with the 30 W and in principle Apple is not expected to run any replacement program or anything like that for the "old" adapters.
