According to information from Variety magazine, Apple has hired new managers for the division in charge of producing television programs and series. Since the beginning of the year, we have been receiving news about Apple's projects that will give continuity to Planet of the Apps y carpool Karaoke. First, Apple contracted the services of Van Amburg and Erlicht aronson, former Sony employees in the drama genre creation division. Later we have learned that Apple is negotiating with Hollywood production companies, to find out what type of projects can fit into Apple's grid.
Apple has budgeted 1.000 million for the development of 10 projects, some of the size of Jennifer Aniston, who would star in a series. Apparently, Apple continues to turn to Sony executives to push its content. The last to come to the apple company was Kim rozenfeld, current director of programming for Sony Pictures TV.
But this is not the only recent addition. Max Aronson and Ali Woodruff, will be part of the development team. Both had previously worked with current Apple production managers. Finally, a woman joins the production management. Rita cooper lee, who has experience as the advertising director for WGN in the United States, will be in charge of directing communications, reporting her work to Tom Neumayr.
We have recently known the negotiations to acquire space in Hollywood, to be close to the main production studios of Culver studios. Apple wants to compete with the big players in the industry, like Netflix and HBO, now that other members of the stature of Amazon or Facebook are joining the audiovisual content race. We hope to have news in the next keynote of the new Apple TV 5, where we will see each of Apple's programs with the best quality.
