Apple could be testing Mac prototypes with Face ID and touchscreen

When Microsoft launched the Microsoft Studio, a computer with a 27-inch touch screen, with a fantastic design, that we can place in any position to write or draw directly on it, many users and experts wondered if Apple was lagging behind in terms of Mac innovation.

Logically, there were also many people who affirmed that this type of device had no place in the Mac ecosystem (the idea was not original from Apple ...). Well, it seems that despite the fact that Jony Ive denied that possibility, when asked by various journalists, the Cupertino-based company is testing several Mac prototypes that in addition to a touch screen, incorporate Face ID.

The medium that has published this news, MySmartPrice, states that this doesn't mean Apple is finally going to release a touchscreen MacInstead, they are apparently testing various models to see if the functionality they offer is attractive enough to actually consider releasing it to the public.

A Mac with a touch screen, currently it is not the priority for Apple. The current priority is to launch a Mac Pro that really appeals to the most pro users, users who from the beginning expressed their discomfort with the launch of the current bin model, due to its limitations when it comes to expanding.

This medium also ensures that Face ID technology is also available on various MacBook prototypes, a function that if Apple does not take it very calmly, something common in recent years, should not take long to launch on the market.

If we consider that Apple didn't release Touch ID on Macs until 4 years after launching on an iPhoneOn the 5s, it is likely that Face ID facial recognition technology will not do so for another two years, when it will be 4 years after its launch on an iPhone.
