A few years ago, the large multinationals had to meet to reach agreements that would help the deterioration of the Ozone Layer to subside. For this, the companies had to commit to a level of carbon emissions into the atmosphere while allocating part of the profits from it. to the investigation of new manufacturing processes and materials that would make everything more energy efficient speaking.
It seems that little by little companies are realizing that this is an issue that cannot be tiptoed over. That is why the White House has reported that companies like Apple are in the group of 13 multinational companies That they have committed to participate in the project we are talking about through which it is estimated that about six billion tons less carbon will be emitted into the atmosphere.
There is no doubt that although we do not name them until now, in that group of 13 companies there is Google, Coca-Cola and Microsoft, among others. The first stage of the project is the creation of 1.600 megawatts of renewable energy and an investment of about 140 billion dollars. The second series of commitments will be announced in the fall.
